CONTINUED MEDICAL EDUCATION
How our continued Medical Education works
For our annual or monthly paid memberships, our continued medical education and endorsement allows you to display for your patients that your practice protocols are ENDORSED by an independent group of experts and provides them access to the safest practice standards as soon as it is discovered through evidence-based scientific and medical research.
For our annual or monthly paid memberships, there will be a link for your website and a QRS code on the certificate we issue our members that can be accessed by any smartphone. It will take your patients to a video explaining IASPS and how you received and maintained your endorsement.
It will explain to patients or those just researching your practice that each member is required to attend 2 hours of accredited medical education per quarter to maintain endorsement. Each member also has access to handbooks, training videos, vendor discounts, and other tools to help them keep their offices safe from the spread of communicable diseases.
Each member has access to our panel of experts through our live webinars where they can ask any questions specific to their practice for free.
Members cost of CE. The 2-hour quarterly required education program is free for members HOWEVER they must attend the live presentation. If for any reason, a member cannot attend the live program, they must register and attend the 2-hour program through our enduring program section. There will be a fee for this, but it will be nominal to cover the additional cost of providing a test that is not required with the live program.
For our FREE* lifetime Registered Users, our continued medical education and endorsement are still available for your patients, but at an additional cost. The certificate of endorsement is optional, as in you can not have one, or you can pay $50/quarter (Only available after attending a two-hour webinar that you purchase quarterly.) after attending the two-hour webinar and it will automatically expire at the end of the quarter. The dates your endorsement certificate is valid will be printed on it and you will have to renew your endorsement to get a new one.
*Free Registered Users are free to be a user of IASPS, but you don’t get the discounts on our services that come along with a Premium Paid Membership account. You’ll need to pay full price for your CME/CE, and well everything else too.
Lifetime Free Registered Users can purchase the most recently released eHandbook but they will only have access to the currently released copy at the time of purchase with no updates/revisions available for review like our premium paid members do. The cost of this eHandbook will be $108.
Each registered user has access to our panel of experts through our live webinars where they can ask any questions specific to their practice. Registration for the Webinars for our lifetime free registered users works as follows:

Becoming a member and gaining our endorsement certificate allows you to display for your patients that your practice protocols are ENDORSED by an independent group of experts and provides them access to the safest practice standards as soon as it is discovered through evidence based scientific and medical research.
A QRS code on the certificate that can be accessed by any smart phone will take your patients to a video explaining IASPS and how you received and maintained your endorsement.
Each member is required to attend a Free 2 hour CME/CE program per quarter to maintain endorsement.
Maintaining 2-hours of continuing education per quarter through our safe practice standards allows you to display for your patients that your practice protocols are ENDORSED by an independent group of experts. Our endorsement means you have taken timely courses and have access to the safest practice standards as soon as they are discovered through evidence based scientific and medical research.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a certification. To certify that you are providing safe practice standards, we would have to do an on-site evaluation and approve all that you are doing as well as re-certify you with additional periodical on and off-site inspections. We trust that, as a licensed provider, you have the knowledge base to take the information you are gaining through accredited educational programs, and applying them to your specific skill sets to provide your patients, staff, and yourself a practice setting that is safe from the spread of communicable disease.
How much does it cost me?
Your membership fee includes your 2-hour live course required quarterly, to maintain endorsement. That is a total of 8 hours. If for any reason you cannot attend the live program, there may be a small additional fee to cover the testing that is required for enduring education programing. Our continuing education courses will always be competitive in pricing but may fluctuate based on guest lecturers or training videos.
However, the member fee will always be 50% or more off the non-member fee.
How do I keep my CME up to date?
All continuing education, unless otherwise stated, will be accredited through a joint accreditation program of the ACCME which includes COPE and CODA. These organizations will provide you with the appropriate certifications or notifications to your national regulatory boards and or state licensure boards you request when you register for the courses.
We will keep track internally of the education required to maintain endorsement.
